Community Involvement

To the Edwards Family and Saskatoon Funeral Home, business and community are intertwined. It has always meant a real commitment to the betterment of the community and its people on an economic, spiritual and social level.

It involves personal volunteerism by ownership, management and staff; financial and in-kind contributions to local projects; promotion of civic pride; and whenever possible supporting local business. Giving back to the community is a value with deep roots in this organization. The company has received both the ABEX and SABEX Community Involvement Awards.

Candlelight Memorial Service

At this time of year we want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Going through the holiday season while coping with the loss of a loved one can be challenging, and leaning on the support of family and friends is especially important.

In previous years we have hosted an in-person Memorial Service for the families. This year, in the interest of Public Health, we are pleased to offer a safe online event allowing you and your family wherever you may be, near or far, alone or with others to participate in this live memorial candlelight ceremony.

The Candlelight Service
will be held on
Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
with prelude music at 6:45 p.m.
Officiated by
Rev. Daryl Woods
Music by
Trevor and Nicole Wingerter,
accompanied by Albert Couture.

You are invited to visit our website home page at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com
at that time to view the livestream video.

A recording of the service will also be posted following the event.

If you have any questions about the event - please call 306-244-5577.

We wish you warmth and comfort.
The Edwards Family and Staff.
