It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Agnes Marie (Wilson) Samson on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Agnes was born in Hague SK, to Rudy and Edna Penner on Feb 28, 1937. She was the eldest of their 2 daughters and she was a loving sister to Marguerite Davey.

Agnes graduated from RJC and attended Teachers college in Saskatoon. She went on to teach in the communities of Tugaske, Eyebrow, Ponteix, and Davidson. While teaching at Tugaske, she met and married Butch Wilson and they raised two sons on their farm just north of Tugaske. After Butch's passing in 1983, she returned to Saskatoon to complete her education degree graduating with distinction and then spent enjoyable years teaching first in Ponteix and then Davidson.

In 1995, Agnes married Sammy Samson and moved to Saskatoon where she enjoyed her retirement years. She was a choir member at Third Ave United Church, an extraordinary host to family and friends and a full-time cheerleader to her 5 grandchildren at all their events.

Agnes is survived by her son: Stacy Wilson (Alice); Grandchildren: Breanne, Devon (Eric Clegg), Bailey (Blake Tebbutt) and Great grandchildren: Dawson and Tanner Clegg and Myles and Owen Tebbutt; and by her son Scott Wilson (Cory), Grandchildren: Maya and Hunter. She is also survived by her stepdaughters: Lynn Samson (Laurie Bradley) and Karen Samson (Larry Mortimore) and her sister-in-law Marge (Wilson) Bruce and many cherished cousins and friends.

Agnes's love language was food. She filled our lives with steadfast love and delicious food and was the glue that always held our family together.
