Anne Haugrud

Anne Haugrud ( Williams ) Sept. 30th, 1919 - Dec. 25th, 2015 Anne passed away in the presence of her Lord on Christmas morning at the age of 96 years. She has left this land of the dying for the land of the living. Anne leaves to mourn, her precious son Lindsay Roy Haugrud and her brother Bob Williams of Alert Bay BC, along with many nieces and nephews and relatives of both the Williams and Haugrud families. Anne was predeceased by her parents Mary and Joseph Williams, her brothers Jack Williams , Tom Williams, Brian Williams and her beloved husband Roy Haugrud. Anne grew up on her parents farm at Lanigan,Sask. She chose to become a school teacher , a decision she never regretted and took immense pleasure in the teaching of her students. Anne loved God and derived great pleasure from His creation . She was always thrilled with a beautiful sunrise or sunset or the beauty of a star lit sky. In 1962, Anne married Roy Haugrud of Viscount Sask. and was a very devoted wife and mother. Anne and Roy farmed the family farm at Viscount for many years until their retirement. She was an ardent gardener and was passionately fond of her flowers and her garden. Her cooking skills were second to none and it was always a treat for the family and friends to get an invitation for dinner. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her Lindsay and all of her extended family.
