It is with profound sadness that the family of Bill Warwick announces his passing on November 6, 2022. Bill (George William) was born and grew up in Northern England where he started his teaching career and then met and married the love of his life, Joan Jackson in 1968. Together they emigrated to Canada in 1969, started a family shortly after in 1971 and in 1979 they settled in Warman, Saskatchewan.
He taught at Warman High School, was an active member of the Warman Town Council for several years and coached soccer as well. They stayed in Warman until 2015. Their remaining years were in Saskatoon, Sk.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his children, Philip (Estee) and Debbie (Dason); and grandchildren, Tyler (Christine), Colby and Serena. He will also be missed by numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Joan; his parents, George and Hazel; and his sister, Gretchen. Bill will be remembered for his sense of humor through life, his contribution to his community and love of family and adventure.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
