It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danica Amy Guerequeta (Brand) on March 8, 2025, age 34. Danica was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a joyous woman and made a profound impact on everyone around her. Born on November 13, 1990, Danica lived in Saskatoon before moving to Warman with her husband and children in 2021. She attended Lakeview Elementary School and Evan Hardy Collegiate.
Danica is survived by her devoted husband, Nicolas; loving sons, Nash and Theo; father, Geoff; mother, Carolyn; brother, Joshua; grandmother, Eileen Munro; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who all had a strong presence throughout her life. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Lewis Brand; grandmother, Doreen Brand; and grandfather, Macleod Munro.
Danica's spirit was pure light and love. She would make a good friend wherever she went, exemplifying unconditional and consistent compassion. Adoring of her loved ones, she was known to make a room full of people laugh with her amusing stories and opinions. Danica demonstrated her diligent work ethic and enterprising mind at an early age. She was a gifted creative force, always chasing her dreams and planning special moments for her family and friends. An advocate and leader, Danica worked closely with the AIM Program for over five years.
Danica's love and presence for Nash and Theo could move mountains. Her unique strength and warmth will live on through her two beautiful children.
Danica leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Her departure is so deeply felt.
The funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Saskatoon Funeral Home - 338 4th Ave N.
