1967 - 2024

The family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Heather Michele Ward occurred on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

Heather was born in Portage La Prairie on Tuesday, April 18, 1967. Heather with her parents and three sisters moved to Saskatoon when she was a small child. She is survived by her daughter Destinee, and Jessica who was a second daughter to her; two sisters Darlene Fraess, and Eileen Ward; brother-in-law Glenn Fraess; nieces and nephews Michelle (Scott) Oblander, Brent Friesen, Robbii Friesen, Tanner Fraess, Justin (Jodee) Caron, Jessica (Rob), Jonathan Caron, Kassie-Jade Friesen, Ariel Broste (great-great nephew baby William); Troy, Brenden and Brody Bruneau, (baby Oliver), great-great nieces and nephew Cherish Jackson, Aleah Coupland, Abigail, Cobey and Christopher Forgue, Cassidy Dobni; her close friends Chryslyn and her children, and her special companion, her dog Bo Bo, as well as many other family and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Mike and Marie Ward, her oldest sister Lynne, best friends Val and Vicky, Cousin Kevin Janzen and Henry (who was a 2nd Dad).

Heather's favorite things to do was her crossword puzzles. She loved to dance and put on her make-up and do her hair all up. She loved to get all dolled up. She loved spending time with her family they were everything to her, but her pride and joy and reason for living was her daughter. Holidays were her favorite. It was a time to spend with her loved ones.

Heather was very caring and passionate. She gave everything. So very smart and a great speller.

Heather will be deeply missed by her loved ones. We would like to give a special thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the life of Heather.

Funeral Services will take place at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 9:00 A.M.
