Shortly after his convocation, Alex began working with Vecima Networks in Saskatoon, where he continued as a highly valued employee until his death.
Alex played a big role in the life of his friend Ashley Ramstad’s daughter, Lydia. Alex loved caring for and spending time with his ‘Lydipoo’, and Lydia loved her ‘Uncle Alex’. Alex regularly sent photos and videos to his family of his outings with Lydia.
Alex also had many hobbies and interests. When he wasn’t at work or with Lydia, he was often playing disc golf or fantasy football. He had very recently taken a trip to Toronto with friends to check out some new disc golf courses. Alex was also a huge fan of DC comics. He collected Batman and Star Wars memorabilia.
