Obituary of Roger Allan Green

It is with sadness that the family announces that the death of Roger Green occurred on February 7, 2018 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Roger is survived by his mother Lenora Green, brothers Nigel and Simon, and sister Stephanie, sister-in-law Louise and brother-in-law Alan. His son Adam, nephews Max, Conor and Cian as well as  his godson and nephew Luke and niece Issabelle, also his niece and goddaughter Sarah with whom he shares a birthday. He was pre-deceased by his Father Allan and son Daniel. Roger was born in Burnley Lancashire England, on May 8, 1965. He moved to Yorkshire where he finished school and went to work for the family business. He had a passion for driving and as soon as he was old enough he took the test and became a truck driver.  Travelling through England and Europe for many years he finally made the move to Canada in 2004 where is lifelong dream was to begin.  He truly loved driving and kept  his family well informed of his travels through Canada and USA.  Sending  pictures and videos all the time.  Family was important to Roger and although 1000's of miles away he never forgot to ring his mother on Sundays. He was a keen supporter of rugby and his beloved England team who regularly disappointed him but he still supported them.  Funeral Services will presided by Rev. Colin Clay  on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Saskatoon Funeral Home. (4th Ave. & 25th St.) and will be Live Streamed for family and friends unable to get to Saskatoon.
