Obituary of Dante Ferrari

Dante A. Ferrari was born on October 26, 1930 in Powell River, B.C. and passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon.

He grew up on the farm in the Livelong, Saskatchewan area and following his grade 12 graduation completed his RPN training. He spent the majority of his working career in the health services industry with stops in North Battleford, Prince Albert and Saskatoon.

Later, the “entrepreneurial bug” surfaced and he worked for Canada Life, then owned and operated a successful Maaco auto body franchise, built, renovated and sold several houses, and finally worked as a realtor.

He is survived by his son Andrew, daughter Linda (Denis) Garrand, daughter Laura (Eugene) Wehner, and son David (Karen) Ferrari, plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by sisters Inez Nordstrom, Kathy (Leo) Opsal, Joan (Don) Nesdoly, brother-in-law Bill Esaw and sister-in-law Jane Ferrari.

He was predeceased by his wife Pauline, brother Adam Ferrari, sister Josephine Esaw, and brother-in-law Clarence Nordstrom.

A Memorial Service will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:30 p.m.
