Jean Sibbald

Obituary of Jean Lucille Sibbald

Mom passed quietly in her sleep at home. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, George. She is lovingly remembered by their children Doug (Donna), Stan (Diane), Laura (Larry Armer), Orman (Deb) and Ray (Tracie) along with a bundle of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Also her sister Irene Hinman, brother Grant Campbell and sister-in-law Eva along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Mom was predeceased by her parents Cameron and Ella Campbell of Delburne, her sister Frances Louella and her brother Max.

Marrying into Army life, Mom was the consummate homemaker and totally dedicated to her family wherever we were posted. Mom was an ardent supporter of the United Church. She was a prolific reader and instilled a love of reading in her family. She liked nothing more than completing a word puzzle or playing a board or card game.

The family would like to thank the dedicated and caring staff at The Palisades, Dr. Tom Gabruch and the Royal University Hospital. Our love to Laura and Larry for keeping Mom comfortable and loved. Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
