Robert Taggart

Obituary of Robert Clifford Taggart

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Clifford Taggart at the age of 73. We have another angel in heaven to watch over us. If you had Bob in your life you were truly blessed. He was so mindful that life was a privilege and he fought so very hard for it. He did not complain nor criticize. His cup was always half full. He lived his life with humility and humanity. He was always interested in what you were doing. He was always going to sports games to watch his children and grandchildren. Thanks to Candy, he never sat at home but partook in all the happenings around town - the annual Saskatoon parade, the Ex, the taste of Saskatchewan, the Fringe, the Farmers Market, the Blades games, and if you were at Costco there was a good chance you would run into Bob. Bob was predeceased by his father Robert Taggart, his mother Kathlyne Taggart and his sister Cathie Harnett. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Candice, his sisters Bonnie (Murray) and Sherry (Rick), sons; Scott(Vicki), Greg (Dalyce), Wayne (Sonja), Brian (Lauren) and  Jamie MacDonald.  Bob loved and will dearly miss his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  How lucky we all have been to have known someone that makes saying goodbye so hard. To honor Bob, the next time you see someone in a wheelchair, reach out, say hello and gift his humanity forward. Donations in memory of Bob can be made to Muscular Dystrophy (www.muscle.ca). In keeping with Bob’s request there will not be a funeral. A small family gathering and remembrance has taken place.
