Josephine (Josie) Rempel passed away on February 2, 2020 at the age of 63.
Josie was born on January 1, 1957 in Flin Flon, Manitoba, the daughter of Bill and Nettie Slugoski. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Christopher Wiebe; granddaughter, Jyelle; twin sister, Jacquie Slugoski; sisters, Darlyn Slugoski, Lorette (Wayne) Cairns and Jeanette (Neil) Randall; nieces and nephews; many grandchildren; great nieces and nephews and Brian Rempel and family.
Josie was predeceased by loving parents Watslaw and Natalija and four siblings Joseph, Billy, Bobby and Norma.
Josie devoted her life to her son, siblings, family, and friends. Josie resided in Saskatoon where she dedicated her life to her work at Extendicare as a CCA for 40 years. She was blessed with many talents. Josie always surrounded herself with angels and now we know the angels are looking after her. Her unconditional love will always be remembered. We will always remember Josie in our thoughts and dreams until our journey in life brings us together in Heaven.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
A Celebration of Josie’s Life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home with Sue Panattoni as celebrant.
