Our mother, Helen Perverseff, born July 19, 1931 passed away February 5, 2021 after a brave fight with dementia and alzheimers.  She would have been 90 years of age this year.
She began life on a farm near Blaine Lake, Sask. and met and married her husband, Nick Perverseff also of the Blaine Lake area.  They had two children, Valerie Lynne Olivera of Oliver, B.C. and Lorne Perverseff of Edmonton.  She also had a grandchild Tanya Olivera of Oliver, B.C.

She will also be sadly missed by her brother Joe Eager of Blaine Lake and several nieces and nephews, as well as close friends.  She was predeceased by her sister Ann Matiko of Saskatoon and her mother Tena and father Peter Egoroff.

Throughout Her life Helen was active in her role as a generous mother, grandmother and aunty. She loved to cook and make crafts.  Many will have a memento of her fine hand work.  She loved to entertain, garden and she loved to read.  She also worked as an Assistant Librarian in Blaine Lake for a few years.

Following the death of her husband Nick she decided to sell her home in Blaine Lake and move to Saskatoon.  She lived in her own condo and then when she was diagnosed moved to the Franklin, Palisades and finally Sherbrooke Nursing Home.  A special thank you to the staff for their compassionate care.

We will always hold our mother near and dear in our hearts and memories.

Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.
