Obituary of Nancy Marie Fraser

On March 1, 2021, Nancy Fraser passed away in her home with loved ones by her side. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ross; children Karen (David), Paul (Kim), Chad (Amanda), and Tom (Anne); twelve adoring grandchildren; and brother Jim (Bonnie). She is predeceased by her mother, father, and one granddaughter.

Nancy was born in 1955 in Regina, SK, to Douglas and Betty. Nancy and Ross were together for over 40 years, spending most of their lives in Saskatoon. In 2012 she retired from a career of 31 years as a medical secretary at the Royal University Hospital. Nancy found joy in simple things like puttering in the garden, coffee or wine on the deck, family vacations, and Sunday barbecues.

Nancy touched everything with great love and a green thumb. She was patient and nurturing as a wife, mother, and gran, and will be remembered in the gardens she planted, the recipes she baked, and the treasures she made for her loved ones. Nancy was a true gem, full of magic, warmth, and grace, and approached every day of her life with kindness and a smile. She will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Arrangements will be made with Saskatoon Funeral Home for interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Saskatoon SPCA.
