Bill was born on May 15, 1957 to Donald and Cecile (nee: Dagenais) Hubbard. He grew up in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan with 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

On April 14, 1979 Bill married the love of his life, Eileen Garrett. On April 14, 1983 they welcomed their first son, Ryan. On October 12, 1984 their second son, Scott, joined the family. The two boys kept Bill and Eileen busy and always on their toes. On September 23, 1990, Clayton made his appearance completing their little family.

As a child Bill enjoyed farming and continued to farm in his early adult life until he built his career in the trucking industry. Bill loved driving truck and drove his last 14+ years with ASL. Bill also enjoyed camping with family and friends whenever he got the opportunity. This summer he got the opportunity to camp with Eileen, his 3 sons and their families. It was a camping trip filled with lots of laughs and great memories that they will all cherish.

Of all things in life, Bill’s greatest love was Eileen and their three sons and their families. Bill is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Eileen Hubbard; their son, Ryan (Nikki) Hubbard and their children, Hunter & Alyssa; their son, Scott (Heather) Hubbard and their children, Ryelee, Kolton, Chloe & Tobi; and their son, Clayton Hubbard. Bill is also survived by his siblings, Carol (Dennis), David (Janis), Faye (Gerry), Donald (Charlotte) and Dixie (Norm); and many cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Cecile Hubbard. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

There will be a viewing at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Saturday, March 27, 2021 between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. The family will have a private graveside service Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
