Obituary of Shirley Doreen Shillington

It is with great sorrow to announce that Shirley D. Shillington has passed away before her 91st birthday. She lived her life in the service of God, her family, and extended family.

Shirley will be eternally remembered by her children Susan Karr, Terry Fredlund, and Jeffery Shillington; her 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her many Belliveau cousins; her Shillington relatives; and her dear friends from church, Bible study, square dancing, tennis, and fitness class. Shirley was the daughter of Dewey and Antoinette Smith, and loving wife to John Verdner Karr (d. 1957), and Victor Shillington (d. 2010).

The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday August 4th, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Philip Neri parish church with Fr. Michael Dechant presiding. The mass will be live-streamed for those unable to attend and will be available to view after the mass. Memorial donations in memory of Shirley can be made to the Saskatoon Ronald McDonald House in lieu of flowers.
