Obituary of Florence Mary Pelletier

Florence Mary Pelletier (nee Sandy) passed away peacefully on November 12, 2021.

Florence was born February 17, 1943 in Saskatoon, SK., to Mary and Lawrence Sandy.  She spent her past ten years plus in Parkridge Centre Special Care Home under the care of the nurses and staff there.

In her younger years she loved to cook and bake for her family.  Looking after elderly people after she left home at the age of 16.  Florence worked in various hotels and nursing homes until after her marriage in 1965.

She had a kind heart and would put everyone before herself.  She loved playing cards, shopping, coloring, as well as numerous activities at the nursing home.

She was predeceased by: her father and mother, Lawrence and Mary Sandy; and a daughter Delia Ermel in 2015.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her son, Marcel; her sister Rosalind Sandy; several cousins; and numerous close friends.

I would like to thank the nurses and staff at Parkridge Centre Special Care Home for their great care and compassion.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

As per her wishes there will be no funeral service.  She will be laid to rest in the spring in the Delisle Cemetery with her Mom and Dad.
