Obituary of Margaret Jean McKenzie Rafoss

Margaret's family is saddened to announce her passing which occurred peacefully at her home. Margaret was born in Saskatoon and lived here most of her life. She worked for the Government of Canada, St. Joseph's School in Yorkton, Beth Jacob Synagogue in Regina, and for more than 20 years with Jancy Holdings in Saskatoon. She often mentioned the enduring kindness and respect of the Loraas family and considered her work colleagues among her dearest friends. Margaret cherished and was cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and often said her family was her world. Margaret is predeceased by her daughters, Linda Grace and Bonnie Jean, her husband Elmer Rafoss, her brother Billy Corrins, her sister Pauline Baillie, and her parents Allan and Mary "Polly" Corrins. Mourning her passing are her children Elaine Borden Ballard (Earl Ballard), Bill Rafoss (Suzie Xue), Joan Reynolds (Ray Morrow), and Katherine Rafoss; her grandchildren Lesley Winter (Andre Winter), Scott Rolleston (Shari Rolleston), Marnie Rolleston (Tyler Gervais), Miranda Low (Stewart Low), Blair Rafoss (Crissy Kapoor Rafoss), Chad Rafoss (Mari Rodriguez-Rafoss), Matthew Jenkins, Ashlee Jenkins (Jeremy Stoyko), and Jasmine Stearns (John Spalding); and her great-grandchildren Megan, Alyssa, Connor, Aaron, Aiden, Landon, Nya, Tristan, Michael, Dharma, and Henry. The family also thanks Saskatoon Emergency Services and the Saskatoon Police Service for their professional kindness and support on the day of Margaret's passing.
