Obituary of Julia Palmer

PALMER, Julia (nee’ Flaman) May 7, 1920 – December 10, 2015 Julia passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Home. Born and raised in Southey, Sk, she married her husband Joe and raised twelve children on the farm. Active in her church, she shared her gifts of faith and music. After Joe passed away she spent many years caring for her grandchildren. Julia was predeceased by her husband Joe and daughter, Pauline Dusyk (Merv) and her siblings – Caroline, Carl, Joe, Bill, Fred and 4 in infancy. She is survived by her children, Bernadette Garritty (Frank), Pat Cooney (Michael), Audry Kawula (Frank), Joan McCulloch (Bob), Ron (Laurie Gossard), Marian Allan (Glen), Dan (Bev Doucette), Tim (Karen Foster), Louise Travill (Andy), Julie Redl (Ken), and Dorothy Fraser (Brent), thirty-five grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren. Julia is survived by her sister Marlene Konecsni (Joe) and brother Frank Flaman.
