Obituary of Ronald Diener

Ronald Diener 1951 – 2016 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Ron, age 64, on January 12th, 2016. Ron was born in Wynyard on June 10th, 1951. He grew up in Jansen and was active in baseball, water sports and later curling where he spent many weekends in bonspiels. Ron married Joyce (Daelick) on June 10, 1972 and they made their home in Lanigan. After an almost 40 year career at PotashCorp, Ron and Joyce retired and moved to Saskatoon. Ron was a quiet man with a witty sense of humour and spent much time at the family cabin he built at Barrier Lake enjoying boating, golfing, snowmobiling, and relaxing with family. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Daelick), two daughters Carla (Ryan) Mahussier and Terri (Chad) Sewell, four grandchildren Taylor, Bailey, Ashlyn and Jaden, father John (Margaret) Diener, mother-in-law Elsie Daelick, uncle Cliff Mienhart, brother and sister-in-laws: Mary Daelick, Janice (Jim) Froats, Allan (Virginia) Daelick, Joan (Gary) Froats and many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his mother Joyce Diener, father-in-law Alfred Daelick , aunt Donna Mienhart, and brother-in-law Ray Daelick.

Funeral

A private memorial service was held at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
