Obituary of Joshua Michael Dutchak

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our Joshua Michael Dutchak, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and uncle. Born on May 31, 1990, in Saskatoon, Josh attended St. Philip Elementary and Holy Cross High School. Josh passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

His memory and love for his family will be remembered and cherished by parents David and Shannon, sisters Kaela (Garrett), Katie, brothers Reilley (Jamie), Jordan, grandparents John and Bev Ford, Mary Billay, nieces Ophelia, Lexa, and nephew Tucker, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Joshua was predeceased by his grandparents Mike and Ida Dutchak.

Josh’s humor, calmness, generosity, and unwavering happiness touched an unimaginable amount of lives. Those who knew Josh are blessed forever with a memory of how to live life to the fullest, not take things too seriously and cherish the people and experiences around us on a daily basis. His blonde hair, blue eyes, and big heart will never be forgotten and he will be up in heaven with our Lord looking down on us, always.

A Celebration of Josh’s incredible life was held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Cathedral. As Josh would always say: “It’s all good.”
