I saw Dean at St Paul’s Hospital just a few days before he left.
I hoped that I would see him again, but I knew that I might not.
I kissed him on top of the head, and said “until next time”.
I never said “goodbye”, and I don’t need to.
I will see you on the trail my dear friend.
My deepest condolences to Dean’s family and his many friends.
