Lynwood Murray (Woods) Smith

Lynwood (Woods) Smith was born on September 21, 1942 in Victoria, BC and passed away at 6:05 p.m. on March 27, 2023 at Oliver Lodge in Saskatoon, SK. 

Woods is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra (nee Lindsay); daughter, Correne; sisters, Heather, Gay and Robbie; grandson, Tyler; sister-in-law, Carol (Larry) Wong; and his brother-in-law, Malcolm (Gladys) Lindsay.  

Woods was predeceased by his son, Trevor in 2005; and his parents, Buck in 2005 and Billie in 1983. 

Woods loved hunting waterfowl, which he started with his dad, Buck, at a young age.  He was a member of the Saskatoon Gun Club, where he did competitive skeet shooting.  Keeping a clean car or truck was a must to Woods; he said it told a lot about a person.  Woods loved his Brittney Spaniels.  He worked alongside his dad, Buck and later his wife, Sandra at Smith Plumbing and Heating which was established in 1917 by his grandfather, WT Smith.  Woods and Sandra retired in 2009. 

At Woods request, there will be no funeral service.
