In July 2012 she was hired by Walmart and worked on the overnight renovation crew at which time they were changing the Preston Crossing store into a Superstore. Upon completion of the renovation she was hired to stock shelves in the same departments as when she was at Zellers: housewares, vacuums, totes etc. on the overnight shift. She worked there until October 2014 when she retired.
She was an affiliate member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans #38. For over forty years she worked cribbage tournaments and other events for the Club. She played darts in dart tournaments with her darts partner Ron Yake.
