Obituary of Neoma Laura Burletoff

Neoma Laura Lyman passed into the care of her saviour on April 29th in a peaceful manner in the excellent care of the Hafford care home. She battled cancer so long she had just been removed from our government palliative care program.

Born in Maple Creek on March 26, 1934 of Canadian/American Californian’s, then farmers on the prairie. Mother Lilly Iona O’Neil and Harold Justin Lyman who had 8 children. Neoma herself had 9 children, 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Neoma was a faithful member of St Vincent’s church in Saskatoon. She was alert and self managing to the date of her passing and expressed her love for her family and church friends taking interest in matters such as the fate of the heritage church organ and all the doings of her large extended family.

She was a prayer warrior and looked forward to seeing her children in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.
