Even though we knew John for just these past 9 years, he made his mark. When we heard of his sudden death, we were so sad that he was no longer with Bev and all of us - his family and friends. Yet, he was called home - the reward for a good and faithful servant.
John made such great use of the many talents God gave him, especially in his interactions with people. He was sure, steady and unafraid in his Faith. We are so thankful for his and Bev's friendship, knowledge, courage, faithfulness, bold example and Kindness.
Even at 90, he lived vibrantly!
We wish there were more men like John in the world to emulate. We feel Blessed to have share our lives together, though it seems all too short.
John loved and spoke so often of his family - each one was so important to him and he wanted them each to have the Faith he loved deeply - so that they could all be together in heaven forever!
He was an inspiration, as an encourager and a mentor. He loved life fully in all Blessings and Challenges.
John will be missed by our family especially for his great hugs, his laugher and his "How is it going, kid?" He made you always feel special.
We know he now requests our prayers to God for him, as he will be earnestly praying for all of us with the Communion of Saints.
