Obituary of Darlene Kitzul

Darlene Lorraine Kitzul (Andrews) It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister on Tuesday August 11th, 2015. Darlene will be missed dearly by her husband Ed, her sons Kelvin and Juanita (Kyla, Kirk and Kali), Clayton and Shelley (Kyle, Kris, Kelsie and Blain) and her daughters Laurie Kitzul and Doug Spearey, Mandy and Jim Waselick (Selina, Steven), her Mother Helen Andrews, sisters Olive Russell, Marilyn Andrews, and brother Ivan Andrews, her half sisters Violet Sapergia and Bernice Austin, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Horace Andrews and her half sisters Rosamond, Ruth, Ethellynn and Hilda and half brother Leslie, and sister-in-law Jean Bird. Darlene was born in Moose Jaw on November 29th 1939. She met and married the love of her life Ed in Sheho, Sask. They settled in Saskatoon when Ed started working for the City of Saskatoon. Darlene was most fond of friend and family gatherings and curled in the City league for over 25 years. She enjoyed writing letters and never missed a birthday or anniversary with a card. Darlene was the best babysitter and loved being with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.

Funeral

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday August 19th, 2015 at the Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Ave N. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Paul’s Hospital Foundation in her memory.
