Obituary of Constance Anne Marie Raymonde Onishenko

Connie passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital after a brief illness. Survived by her devoted and steadfast partner, Bill Bagnall. Beloved mother of Shelley Carlson of Edmonton, Les Carlson (Lorraine) of La Ronge, Chrystle Carlson Cumbo (Enrico) of Toronto, Scott Shirley of Victoria BC and Andrea MacPherson (Jamie) of Saskatoon; beloved grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Lovingly remembered by sisters Henriette Martin-Petryliak (Ed) and Terry Richards (Phil), and brothers Richard Sinotte (Cece) and Ray Sinotte and their families. Predeceased by mother and father, Agnes and Henri Sinotte and sisters Annette Sinotte, Cec Pennington, Frances Perrin and Lorraine Parson. Born in Bromptonville, PQ, Connie moved with her parents to Cold Lake Alberta and then to La Ronge in 1944. Connie attended Business College in Calgary, AB and worked at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert and St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon until her retirement 22 years ago. Connie loved the outdoors, especially spending summers managing the resort at East Trout Lake with her partner, Bill. Matriarch to our large and growing family, Connie was the family archivist, genealogist and repository of countless family stories. She was an avid reader who spent many hours volunteering at the school and in her community. She was also a great cook who loved to entertain large family gatherings. She will be deeply missed by all of us who love her so much. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, 1702 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK. S7M 0Z9.

Funeral

Prayers will be Sunday, January 15th at 7:30 pm at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Avenue North. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Pauls' Co-Cathedral, 720 Spadina Crescent East at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16th. 2017.
