Vera Hannah Parkes was a loving mother, great friend and devoted wife. She faithfully attended her Church and was a great source of strength to everyone who met her. Vera passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 8, 2018 at Royal University Hospital. Vera is predeceased by her husband Dennis and daughter Deborah. She is survived by her children: Arthur ( Joanne), Janice, Catherine and Mary Jo. She will be greatly missed by her many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren: Tyler Mones (Kayden Lambie, Cohen Lambie, Wyatt Lambie, Kieran Mones), Michael and Katelyn Mones (Lachlan Mones, Jameson Mones), John and Bobbi Parkes (Duke Parkes, Will Parkes), Jessica and Bryce Ackerman (Trent, Kaleigh and Jolene Ackerman), Kyle Parkes and Jordan Shane (Wyatt Parkes), Sherrilyn Parkes and Julio Canizales (Noah Canizales), Brenna Parkes and Ryan Milaney (Sophia, Abigail and Arlo Milaney), Cole Parkes and Kayla Liddicoat (Willow Parkes) and Quinn Parkes. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. George’s Anglican Church, 624 Ave. I South, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
