Mervin Amandus Johnson
December 26, 1937 - January 31, 2024

With broken hearts we announce the passing of our father on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Merv was born to parents Alberta and Iver Johnson. He grew up on a farm near Landis, SK. Soon after leaving the farm, he met the love of his life Carol Ann Fairbrother. Together they had 5 children, Jacqueline, Mechele, Shawn, RayLynn and Merilynn, 11 grandchildren, Sherae, Shawna, Sharla, Jory, Brayden, Julia, Coalbey, Keanyn, Kassen, Sharred and Shane, and 8 great grandchildren Gracelyn, Matix, Autumn, Kale, Jaxson, Blaire, Everly and Calia.

Merv pursued his passion and lifelong career in rebar reinforcement. He created a name and was a legend in the industry. In his off time and in retirement he enjoyed his family and visits with his friends at Clarks Crossing.   

Merv will always be remembered for his love of people, witty humor, and quotes with words of wisdom.
