His greatest job was raising his children and helping them to pursue their passions of hockey and figure skating. August was a faithful parishioner at Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Saskatoon. He was a devoted Saskatchewan Rough Riders fan and always enjoyed many post game analysis over the phone with his son. He was an amazing cook and prepared many feasts for friends and family using his own creative recipes. August was a generous man with a big heart, who will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
