Frank Hamilton

Obituary of Frank Leslie Hamilton

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Hamilton announces his passing. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Ladene (nee Scott); his sister, Thelma Rempel; sister-in-law, Sonjia Hamilton; sister-in law, Bernice Fawcett; brother-in law and sister-in-law, Cliff and Eileen Roberstson; and many nieces and nephews.
Frank is predeceased by his father, George; mother, Luella; sisters, Hilda Laycock and Helen McDonald; brother, Lloyd; brothers-in-law, Reginald Scott, Keith Fawcett and Garvin Scott; and sister-in law, Roberta Scott.
Frank was born on the farm at Radisson, SK. He attended Twin Lake School and Radisson High School. Frank always loved the farm and enjoyed the many trips back to it. He especially loved to be at the farm during harvest.
As well as farming, Frank worked at the Saskatchewan Liquor Board until his retirement. He and Ladene loved to travel and for a number of years wintered in Arizona with like minded Canadians. They continued to keep in touch with many from the Arizona crew.
Frank and Ladene moved to Diamond House in Warman, SK. this past year. Frank enjoyed the company of a number of the other residents who had equally interesting lives. There was reminiscing and the occasional discussion about the state of politics. He was a favorite with the staff as he remained very independent and engaging.
Frank will be sadly missed.
A family service will take place at a later date when circumstances and travel permit.
