The family of Chuck Nekrasoff of Oakville, ON. announce his passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday March 13, 2021 at home.

 

Chuck was predeceased by his loving parents, Ruby in 1992 and Wally in 2004 special Mom in “Law”, Jackie in 2014 and James’s brother John in 2019. Special kitties, Charlie, Isabella and Zoe. His grandparents, several uncles and aunts, cousins and a special great nephew Noah in 2010.

 

Chuck is survived by his soulmate and loving partner of 17 years, James Sevcik in Oakville, ON, their 4 cats, Molly, Sami, Lucy and Sophie, brothers, Jim of Chilliwack BC, Jerry (Lianne) of Regina SK. and his sister Dianna Hanley (Ralph) of Saskatoon, SK. James’s sisters, Janis and Joceline (Greg) sister in law Brenda all of Winnipeg. Nieces, Trina, Tara (Dean), Shelley, Danielle (Jennifer) and Cheryl Lynn. Nephews, Sean, Trevor, Ben, James and Chris. Great nieces and nephews, Caleb, Kylee, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Rylee, Willa, Olivia, Sophia, Ava, Arlo and Hayden. 

 

Chuck was born and raised in Saskatoon, went to school at Princess Alexandra, Bedford and Marvel.  and could not wait to get out, having moved onto Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg, Niagara Falls before settling into the Mississauga/Oakville area. From the hospitality industry to hairdressing to home support Chuck had dedicated himself to being a customer service professional.  Having worked in the Travel Industry for the last 20 years mostly on the corporate side, he found his passion.

 

Chuck and James spent most of their free time together, and tried to do at least one cruise a year, the highlights being New Zealand and Australia in 2019, Japan in 2016 and two Mediterranean cruises where Chuck found his love of Greece.  When not cruising, you could find them at Classic Bowl, THBS on Sundays or an IGBO Bowling tournament, chasing that elusive 300. A good night at home with the kitties in front of the TV was also a favorite pastime.
