Obituary of John Mazurak

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of John Mazurak, aged 77 years, on Saturday, April 10, 2021. 

Beloved husband, father and grandfather will be missed by all.  John was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl & Jennie Mazurak; sister, Katie Mazurak; and his granddaughter, Alena Grace Mazurak. 

He is survived by: his loving wife, Mary; along with daughters, Donna (Douglas Greene), Marilyn (Greg Warnez); sons, Wayne (Cara Mazurak) & Kris (Abbie Mazurak).  He will dearly be missed by his five grandchildren Jazlyn (Nathan), Landry Warnez, Kaleia, Naia and Kai John David Mazurak.  He is also survived by his sister Eva Mazurak (Ken). 

John was born August 16, 1943, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and raised in Janow Corners, Saskatchewan.  After completing his schooling, he became a journeyman mechanic working at J.G. Bell International, the Department of Highways and the City of Saskatoon, where he spent 24 years until retirement.  Over the years, John met and helped hundreds of people, humbly serving others using his gifts and abilities to fix or build anything. 

Due to Covid gathering restrictions, a private ceremony for immediate family members will be held in John's memory on Thursday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m.  The service will be live streamed and all are invited to view and participate by accessing the link that will be placed at the top of the page.
