She left the farm at age fifteen to help her sister Olga with their family. She remained there until her marriage to Peter at which time they began their family in Saskatoon. Mom had her hands full raising four children as well as running the household. She belonged to the Ladies League at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral and assisted with cooking at many summer camps that the children attended.
