June 15, 1926-November 23, 2022

Rose Kosteroski born on June 15, 1926 in Goodeve, Sask. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 23, 2022 at St. Paul’s hospital, Saskatoon, Sask.  Rose is survived by her two sons Bryan (Vanessa), Wayne (Wanda) and grandchildren Chris (Melisa), John (Jaimie), Rachelle (Barry), Kirstynn (Brent), Stacey (Shane), Danielle, Brayden (Kate) and great grandchildren, Kendry, Klara, Camilla, Aria, Eva, Shay, Shiloh, sister-in-law Annie and numerous special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stephan and Anna Dumalski, brothers Bill (Nettie) Dumalski, Alex Dumalski and sister Kate (Walter) Sass. On July 12, 1953 Rose married the love of her life Michael Kosteroski and raised a family of two wonderful sons.  Rose was employed by Saskatoon Health Region for 17 years before retiring in 1987.  Rose was an active member of the Pleasant Hill Community Association spending many hours at the rinks and softball diamonds watching her sons and grandchildren playing the sports they loved.  She was an avid lover of the Toronto Blue Jays and curling and never missed watching either of them on tv.  Throughout her years she loved making perogies and cabbage rolls for her family, as well as making ceramics and doing needle point as a pass time. The Divine Liturgy will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George, 210 Ave M South, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022.
