Susan was a smart and principled teacher, and a kind and thoughtful friend. I enjoyed her company immensely. My condolences to gamy and friends.

Shelagh,
I am so sorry for your loss. Growing up about a block away, I remember hanging out at your place every now and then – the “cool” house on the block. Susan, a few years older, had no use for me, but I distinctly remember having a crush on her. Fond childhood memories.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

My condolences to Shelagh, David, Bruce, and families. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Susan’s death. Although our last visit was a few years ago, here in Toronto, we kept in touch through messenger quips and comments. I vicariously completed the wordle each day, cheering her on from afar. I laugh out loud on the golf course when I mess up and mutter “swish f@ck” under my breath, imagining her saying the same. As there are some days that there as many flubs as completed shots, I will think of her quite often. I trust she is tap dancing her way to join Anne and Ian. I will miss her.

I am so sorry to hear this. Our group of friends had many sleepovers during elementary school. And, of course, we would get into “a little trouble”, or so we thought back then. She introduced me to the comedy team of Nichols and May, which we would listen to on her parent’s stereo. I was just thinking of one of those sleepovers the other day. Rest in Peace, Susan.
