Obituary of Tina Marie Cunningham

Tina Marie Cunningham, was born in Saskatoon on January 6th,1967.  She suddenly passed away on January 11, 2024, less than a week after her 57th birthday.

 

She spent most of her life in Saskatoon and North Battleford, she lived in a few other cities and towns for short periods. She never really liked staying put in one place for too long. She ended up purchasing a 1976 Fleury RV. She was so happy and so proud of it. Definitely her favorite purchase she made.

 

She enjoyed going to La Ronge, where she could be outdoors connecting with nature. She even got to see Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash when they did an outdoor concert there, in the early 80s. 

 

She attended Confederation elementary, Lester B Pearson, and then Mount Royal Collegiate for high school.

 

She was passionate with bowling in her younger years, and she was pretty good at it too.

 

Tina loved nothing more in life but to be around her children and grandchildren. She was beyond proud of them all. She said that’s what kept her going over the years.

 

Tina was always happy and smiling, everyone loved her friendliness. She would do anything to help people out.

 

She loved music and singing so much, she would go out to sing karaoke, sing at family gatherings, and even sing at home on her karaoke machines.

 

Some of her favorite singers were Cher, Celine Dion, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Anne Murray, and many more.  She absolutely loved dance music too.

 

Tina was beautiful, strong, brave, caring, outgoing, she had a very unique and crazy fun personality that everyone seemed to be drawn to. She will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.

Tina is lovingly remembered by: her children and grandchildren, Ryan Trotchie (Melissa), Teslyn, Harper and Mateo; Aaron Trotchie (Jessica), Cree, Karter, Julian and Emma; Montana Pritchett-Cunningham, Daxtyn and Penelope; Phoenix Pritchett (Jayda), Malia and Jaxson; her father, David K. Cunningham; step mother, Alice Parada; step father, Greg Pauliuk; brother, David J. Cunningham; step brother, S. Jason Torgersen (Jerilee); and step sister, Darryenna Parada.

She was predeceased by her mother, Heather Pauliuk; daughter, Desirae Cortes-Cunningham; brother, Shawn Pauliuk; grandparents, Margaret Cunningham and David M. Cunningham; and aunt, Lorna Smith.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18, 2024.  Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
