Obituary of Clarence Frank Schulhauser

Sadly, we are sharing the passing of Clarence Frank Schulhauser, March 11, 2024. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Estelle, in 2020. Dad, also known as, husband, brother, brother in law, uncle, cousin, grandpa, great grandpa, friend, neighbour and co-worker, was a giving man who touched many, many hearts. He made friends with everyone, no matter where he was. Most people would call him a social butterfly. When it was time for us to find his new home, it was with one request “find me somewhere with a lot of people”. At Stonebridge Crossing, we were recently told by another resident, he truly was our community ambassador and loved. He had a way of bringing people together and involving all. Clarence kept his unfiltered sense of humour right up to his last hour. This sense of humour kept all of us on our toes. Never a dull moment, often entertaining, sometimes embarrassing. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Loved all celebrations, visiting, coffee outings, weddings, birthday’s, parties because all of these included being with people and having fun. His outlook on life was positive. He always managed to find good in everyone and everything. With his fighting spirit he accepted all life challenges. In the hospital, Dad expressed how he had lived a good full life and was now ready to get back together with Mom. We know they’re sharing a glass of wine. Be happy Dad. We love you! We want to express our sincere appreciation to those who provided support and care for our Dad, specially Stonebridge Crossing staff, Emergency Department and the Palliative Team at St. Paul’s Hospital. As per Dad’s request, which he strongly communicated, there will be no service. Please accept his wishes, as we are. We know we he would love for everyone to celebrate his life in your own way.
