The Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals mourns the loss of a great leader and friend. As a practitioner, teacher, manager and volunteer, Betty was a dedicated and exemplary professional. In those roles she was a mentor and positive role model for a countless number of pharmacists. We will make a donation to the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy in her memory.

Heartfelt condolences to Jean and the rest of Betty's family that are unknown to me.
For about 15 years I had the pleasure of being Betty's hairstylist. For many of those years I traveled from Outlook to Saskatoon when she needed my services. Betty in her gracious way, repeatedly expressed her appreciation. In no way did I ever feel taken for granted. I quickly came to enjoy our visits and we became more than "business associates". Betty was always interested in my family and my life and pleased to share her experiences and wisdom. Despite the age disparity, Betty was my dear friend and I missed our visits when she no longer needed my services. I will always remember Betty with fondness. I deeply regret that that I cannot attend the funeral, but my thoughts are with those that mourn.

Sincere condolences to Betty's family.
I went to U of S Pharmacy with Betty for 3 years and then bought Leslie's Drugstore in Biggar in 1948. During our 3 years in Pharmacy, Betty spent a lot of time in my family's home.
I remember Murray coming into the drugstore in Biggar on many occasions, and, of course, met Betty at numerous Pharmacy events over the years.
To many people in our area the 16 mile corner on HWY 51 is still known as the Riddell corner.
