My thoughts are with you and your family, Bill, on the passing of your dad.
We are grown men, with our own families, now. . . . and yet we will always be those little boys hanging out with our dads. I know you will remember and cherish those memories with your dad, as I do with mine.
I wish you peace in your heart and strength in your family.

Sincere condolences from our family to yours. Please know that you are in our prayers at this difficult time. I have so many fond memories of Dr. Haver both from Wynyard and from living just a few houses away for the last 15 years. I remember when Dr. Haver would come to our house in Wynyard for a house call. He would often bring the family dog, Tuppy, with him. He would ask my Mom for a piece of cheese and he would place the cheese on the floor and ask Tuppy to "leave it" while he attended to his medical duties. What a wonderful distraction that was for all of us until the unhappy business of the examination was over and what fun when Tuppy finally got his cheese however long that was!
We have many fond Briarwood memories as well from the very warm welcome we received when we first moved in a few houses away, to introductions to people from the community at the early Briarwood community BBQs, to visits at the mail box. Our kids especially enjoyed Halloween trick or treating at your Dad and Mom's house as there was always pictures taken, pets to play with and wonderful treats.
So many wonderful memories. I hope your special memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.
Warm Regards,
Lesia Ostertag (Pillipow)

To each of the Haver Family at this sad time; Barb, Bill, Carol, Bob and families.
We were so sorry to learn of the passing of your very special Father, Father-in-law and Grandpa. Although we did not know your dad we know what a wonderful man he was because of how he raised four wonderful children. We are certain your dad was instrumental in modelling behaviours that shaped the special people that you are and his legacy lives on in you, your children and grandchildren. It was a beautiful obituary sharing the story of your father's remarkable life of passion and dedication to an outstanding career in medicine and his devotion to family and friends. The world is a better place because of your Dad.
In the difficult time ahead we hope that good memories will be a comfort to you.

We hope that you will move through this difficult time supported by family and friends and many wonderful memories of your time together with this remarkable man. He is now at peace with the love of his life, Patricia.
