Lillian Brandt
1932 - 2017
It is with great sorrow that the family of Lillian Brandt announces her passing on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
Lillian was born in Montmartre Saskatchewan, to Bill and Pauline Pepin. Lillian married Herman Brandt on August 9, 1954. They were blessed with 7 children: Travis (Marylou), James ( Arlene), Ronald, Bob (Ilona), Wanda ( Dale), Paul ( Verna), and David ( Violet). Her legacy also includes 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Lillian spent most of her adult life in Saskatoon. She was devoted to raising her children. Lillian and her husband were active in the Associated Canadian Traveller's ( ACT), and
together took school pictures for schools across Saskatchewan.
Following the death of her beloved Herman in 1988, Lillian braved getting her drivers license and started work with Catholic Family Services. She enjoyed 10 years as a child care worker at Bishop Murray High School. Lillian was involved with Special Olympics for 30 years supporting her son Ron, as a coach and his biggest fan. Lillian remained actively involved until her passing.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Herman, both her parents, Bill and Pauline and a great grandson Carter Andreen. Lillian will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
