Ginette Arnold

Obituary of Ginette Arnold

Ginette was the youngest child of Albert and Alma Courchene. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years Jim Arnold, brothers Lionel and Robert, sisters Isabelle (Doucette) and Lucille (Klein) and granddaughter Zoe. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Anita Jankoski (Doug), grandchildren Ariana, Jacek and Avery as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ginette was born and raised in Debden, Saskatchewan. Some of her fondest memories were working in her family’s store. She also worked as a book-keeper and movie projectionist. In 1968 she married the love of her life and committed herself to her family. Family and faith were the two most important aspects of her life. Her devotion to her faith made her able to see joy and light in everything. She was selfless and always willing to sacrifice herself to make others happy. Ginette was fortunate to travel extensively, she especially enjoyed exploring North America in their motor home and spending summers at the lake. Ginette will be remembered for her sense of humour and positive outlook. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and creating treasures for friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, baking and spoiling her family. She took great pride in her grandchildren who were the light of her life. A special thank you to the staff at St. Paul’s Pallative Care unit and to our amazing physician Dr. Enweani for all his care and help these last few months.
