Obituary of Kerrin Jay Munro

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Kerrin Jay Munro on July 6, 2017 in Saskatoon at the age of 25. Kerrin is survived by her loving family – her parents Brad and Susan Munro; her sister Kodi Munro, Kodi's partner Joe Young and their son Jack; and her sister Jessie Munro all of Saskatoon. Kerrin is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles and too many cousins to count. Kerrin is further survived by her special friend Colby Mooney. Kerrin was predeceased by her maternal Grandparents Irvin and Marion Morstad and paternal Grandparents Ronald and Joyce Munro as well as her favourite auntie Carla Magnuson. Kerrin was born at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon and resided in the city her entire life. She attended Lakeview Elementary School, Evan Hardy and graduated from Walter Murray. After graduation Kerrin worked at Toys R Us for 2 years before going on to attend Saskatoon Business College with the dream of a career in computers, before her illness prevented her from completing her course. As a young girl, Kerrin enjoyed Girl Guides, dance and had a huge passion for music. She was happiest at play with her sisters and all of her friends in the neighbourhood. As an adult, Kerrin enjoyed jewellery making, anything computer related, music and photography. She had recently developed an interest in the field of gemology. Kerrin was an incredibly sweet, caring and compassionate young woman. She had a supportive and helpful nature, always quick to identify those who really needed her and providing unwavering support, most often at the expense of her own needs. Kerrin had an amazing inner strength and determination that was a force to be reckoned with and it carried her through her health journey. Kerrin loved all time spent with family, family camping trips, especially the "girls" trip to Pine Cree. In the last few years, her friends and the time spent hanging out with them was very important to her as her health would allow. FLY FREE – FOREVER YOUNG
