Blanche attended school in Emerald, Wishart and Foam Lake, SK. Following high school graduation, Blanche attended Psychiatric Nurses training at the Saskatchewan Hospital in Weyburn. She worked in a variety of settings, including the Saskatchewan Hospital, Weyburn, Uranium City Hospital, Cobourg, ON Hospital, St, Pauls’ Hospital and finally retiring at age 70, from The Royal University Hospital Hantelman Unit. Blanche is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill Musschoot, her two sons, Colin (Lisa) of Grenfell, SK and Jared (Cathy) of Fernie, BC and four grandchildren Lucas, Nathan, Summer and Cohen. Siblings include Norma, Barb, Bernard, Larry (deceased) and numerous nieces and nephews. Blanche’s love and quiet demeanor will be missed by all who knew her, especially by her grandchildren, who were quite attached. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Viv Walker and the supporting staff at St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Mark Boechler and Dr. Gary Groot. Friends and family wishing to express their condolences may make a memorial donation, in lieu of flowers, to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK.
